The Pianist on the Ship

During one of our sessions, I guided my client into an alpha hypnotic state. As she traveled deeper into her heart, where memories are stored, an image unfolded: she was in the auditorium of a grand ship, much like the Titanic. The red hall, richly adorned in 1920s style, hosted people in tuxedos and stylish evening attire as they talked and laughed.

Suddenly, our focus shifted to a slender, graceful woman in a white dress with a pearl necklace. She was the ship’s pianist, playing for the wealthy passengers aboard.

She then took a break from playing and moved toward the bar. She sat frozen on a bar chair, all by herself, and seemed deeply trapped in her mind. Her body language made it clear she was lonely. Her gaze was distant, fixed on something unseen.

I asked my client to sit beside her.

She was my client’s past-life persona who had appeared briefly in an earlier session, but she wasn’t ready to open up at that time. Now, her second return felt purposeful. Her name was Ellie, short for Eleanor. Her return marked a turning point, leading us to the core of my client’s deepest struggles, and was clearly set to be the episode’s highlight.

As we talked with Ellie and asked questions, it became obvious that her life on the ship reflected similar struggles my client had been facing. She often worried deeply about her future, her loneliness, and the risk of poverty and dependence. She mentioned that her relationship with her father was distant, and they rarely saw each other. He offered little warmth, and his presence was a shadow rather than a comfort. Her mother was aloof and unreachable, making her relationships with others superficial. My client’s family dynamics in this lifetime were similar—the father was distant, and the mother was aloof.

One might have had the impression that my client was adopted, as it looked like her parents were oblivious to her presence, and once she had said she didn’t feel like she belonged in this family. The similarity suggested that this area needed healing. It was a striking parallel that showed how deeply her struggles ran.

Ellie carried a constant fear of being alone. It clung to her across lifetimes, a heavy weight that tightened her chest and clouded her thoughts. Even the idea of solitude brought waves of panic, as if she might vanish into it.

At one point during the session, Ellie was overwhelmed by her fear of uncertainty. Even though she was surrounded by over a hundred people on the grand ship, she felt deeply alone. She wanted to start a family, but couldn’t trust anyone. She had built a wall around herself. She seemed to have trapped herself in a protective cage, but she was lost in it. As I watched, she was overcome by fear and unable to free herself from it, so I stepped in.

I directed a steady stream of calm toward her, a process of channeling intention to quiet the chaotic energy in her mind, visualizing the energy as a gentle, flowing current that moved through me and into the space around her. My focus was on dissolving the fear and untangling the knots I could sense in her heart. At the same time, I asked my client to pass on these words: “I am your future self. Whatever you have been through, I will carry it until it is resolved. You must trust and let go.” She embraced Ellie, reassuring her she was not alone.

As this was a recurring emotion that followed from the previous life, it needed to be healed for my client’s well-being in this lifetime. When she heard the statement about my client being her future self, Ellie wasn’t surprised at all. She already knew it. Ellie felt better but still carried deep worries about the future.

Ellie suddenly pulled out a necklace resembling a medallion from her pocket and handed it to my client. One side was embossed with flowers, while the other side had a mirror. Ellie must have felt a strong connection to my client to gift the necklace to her.

I then shifted the energy, much like tuning a radio to a clearer frequency, breaking her worries into fragments so they could not return. Soon, my client noticed Ellie begin to glow. Her breathing calmed, her shoulders relaxed, and the agitation faded, giving way to a visible stillness. Ellie became silent and no longer appeared to be in her trauma. Her body softened. The heaviness lifted from her, and she entered a deep state of stillness.

In that stillness, something remarkable happened. It was as if she had stepped outside the “self” that carried her fear across lifetimes. It became clear Ellie was healing as her image gradually faded. Ellie was now half light and half fading memory.

I sent one final concentrated wave of energy, a quiet but powerful force to dissolve what remained. Silence and peace settled in; the fear had lost all power. Ellie was gone as a figure, replaced by a beautiful glow. She had moved into another dimension where there is no pain, only peace.

All that remained from her was the medallion.

After Ellie’s release, the scene shifted magically as the session continued. My client found herself standing under a wide blue sky. A beautiful horse approached her from a distance. The horse stopped in front of her and asked her to caress his head. As her hand moved gently along his mane, she felt an immediate closeness, as if they had known each other for a very long time.

The horse lowered himself, inviting her onto his back. She settled onto him with ease, not as though she were mounting an animal, but as if she were returning to a place she had known before. Together, they began to move, uniting as one, their steps unhurried, as the horse carried her forward into an endless expanse.

She described the moment as one of uniting with a loved one she had not seen in ages. Through the bond she felt with him, an inner knowing arose: he was her protector, as all animals are. By asking her first to caress him and then to ride, the horse was giving her a direct taste of trust — step by step. In doing so, he was dissolving the same stuck places that had followed her through lifetimes: the fear of loneliness and the fear of what lay ahead.

As they wandered together in perfect unity, waves of reassurance rose in her. The union gave her an indescribable sense of trust, leaving her more peaceful, calm, and safe than ever before. It was not only the release of fear that brought her to this place, but also a great reminder that she was never alone.

Ellie’s existential problems and their effects on my client seemed to have completely vanished, but how would this actually affect my client’s life? When the session ended, she opened her eyes, calm and at peace, but she wasn’t sure how this would help her. She said she needed time to answer this.

Over the few weeks that followed, my client’s life began to change gradually. The fear of loneliness that once ruled her seemed far and powerless. What had felt unbearable no longer gripped her. She carried herself with quiet confidence, her relationships no longer strained by old patterns. With guidance and energy, her deepest fears had dissolved. My client’s past life as a pianist mirrored her struggles, but it also revealed her healing.

Another episode had been handled successfully, and I am happy it ended well. It reminded me how even one session can open the way to resolving past issues.
